"Formed by High School classmates Michael Cooper & Louis McCall in 1969, Con Funk Shun had a real purple patch during the late seventies & early eighties, releasing thirteen albums, with Loveshine (1978) & Candy (1979) reaching the top 40 of the Billboard pop charts and top 10 on the R&B charts and both albums were certified Gold. Neither of them have been previously released on Compact Disc."
