"For the first time on one CD all of Tyrone Davis Billboard R&B chart hits of the 1970s recorded for the Columbia label. Davis had been a prolific recording artist and hit maker for many years when he signed to the major CBS Corporation in 1976. He was one of the biggest draws in Black America and continued to tour incessantly until suffering a massive stroke in October 2004 that kept him hospitalised until February 9th 2005 when he died at the age of 66."
